Tip Me Tuesday

I don't know about you, but I have a jetted bath in the master en suite (boy that sounds fancy) and I have a heck of a time getting down in there to clean it out. Not only that but I had a dilemma with how I was going to clean the pipe inside the jets.
I don't always use the jets when I have a bath. Sometimes I just like to sit and soak in the hottest bath possible, with a little music and a candle burning... okay I am getting side tracked a bit. But anyway, the water that sits in there gets stale and stinky with soap bits in it and it's just gross.
So of course I hit the old computer and googled a way to clean out the jets. There were many people out there willing to give advice and I tried a few but once I found this one I was not looking any further.
What you do is fill your tub past the jets with straight hot water; Add a cup of bleach and a squirt or two of laundry soap. And just run the jets for 15-20 minutes.
It smells great in the whole house when I do this, so fresh and clean...
After your done running the tub just drain it and wipe it down with a cloth to remove any stubborn soap scum and ta da a sparkly clean tub!

Now on to the toilets... Yuck!

In other events of my life, because yes I am not only the housekeeper but the Mom too, and A FootBall mom at that these days.
Dallin is in the Atoms Football league here and he is loving it.
Besides being creamed by a kid twice his size on saturday, he loves to play.
I am loving the chance to watch and learn about the game myself.
Going to practice everyday gets a bit tedious but I love it when the have a game.
I thought Dallin would have to sit out a lot because he is smaller than most of his team and because he is in grade 4. But that kid is a tough one and gets to play most of the game. He gets to play Safety on Defence and Tight End or Wide reciever (not sure which cause they are only handing off the ball as on now and not passing) on Offence.
Again I learned this from google, as he just calls it #5 on the line.

He's out on the end # 37
Okay I''m a proud Mamma!

Madison has also started ballet again, I put her here in Raymond and I'm glad I don't have to drive her so much this year.
I was thinking of all the things she could go on and use her dance for as I was sitting and watching some amazing dancers/acrobats at Cirque de Soliel's Ovo.
Okay not really I was too involved in the Wow factor, but after the thought crossed my mind.

I love going to Cirque in the big tent in Calgary.
It is so fun to be there and just take a break from life. And it didn't hurt that it was some time away with the Hubby as well.
Soon he will be done school and I can have a bit more of his time... and do I have plans for him. (like tiling around that jetted tub)
His Honey Do list is pretty long and he knows it too.
Maybe it's really called a someday list, cause something always comes up and I get told it will get done someday!
Oh well.
