Another good weekend

I just had an amazing weekend with my family.
We went Camping out at Chinook lake as I posted earlier.
It was way better then I expected.
The lake was small but just perfect for a little fishing.

The kids did a little swimming but not much the wind was a little chilly.
We did do a bit of hiking around the lake. Caitlyn ran the first half of the way around (its a 2km trail) but I had to carry her for the last half. Until we got to the stairs she had to do those herself.

The hill to get to the lake was very steep. To drive we had to gear down to 1st in the truck, but the kids always wanted to walk so I went with them. I stumbled a few times on the rocks and all of the kids have scrapes and bruises from falling on the scree. But the thing for me was the burning in my muscles after doing the hill about 10 time each day.
At least I got my work outs in.
Talking about a work out. Logan decided to come looking for me and Madison when we went for a walk the first night. He went on his own and when I got back no one knew where he was because they all thought he was with me.
So I took off running and ran all around 50 sites calling for him and asking other campers if they saw him. Everyone I saw said they had just seen him minutes ago running by.
My Nephew finally found him with an older couple trying to find our camp site.
I am so thankful for honest and trustworthy people.
So a little scold and a lot of love latter he learned not to leave sight of an adult.
Now I love camping but I love to come home and have a shower even more.
Sunday night we got home cleaned up and then sat at the stake centre for
2 1/2 hrs waiting for our temple recommend to be signed.
What a long wait for a 5 minute interview.
But its done and now I am good for 2 more years.

So since the house was a disaster after all the packing and then unpacking me and the kids did a once over on the house and now it shines.
(For another five minutes)
But the gardened needed a good weeding too so that is the task we undertook today.
Now it is beautiful.

I can see what is growing where.
The paths are a little over grown with weed still but thats okay for now.

As for some exciting new on my part

I GOT A PIANO

My old seminary teacher had an old 1916 Milner player piano that she was giving away and thought of me!
That's right she gave it to me.
It needs a bit of restoration, but I am married to an amazing wood artist.
Okay he's a cabinet maker but he can do magic with it I am sure.
The thing that amazes me is she just gave it to me.
the Player mechanism still works just need to be hooked up and then i just have to get the piano tuned and
holy cow I can get my kids in lessons now and they can practice.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I am excited.
