Marco..............Pillow?
This is what I have been hearing this morning around here. Logan and Caitlyn are playing hide and seek and it has been a long game in which Caitlyn always hides exactly were she found Logan. And she is yelling both Marco and Pillow (Polo)
Hide and seek is an all time fave around here with tons of places to hide around our house.
The other day while playing Logan thought it would be great to hide in the wash machine because nobody would be able to find him.
How right he was, not only could we not find him but his screaming and crying when he couldn't push the door open again was so faint, the only way we saw him was his frantic waving and pounding on the door.
He was so upset and scared, I just hope that it will be enough to learn his lesson. The washer or dryer are not toys!!
On a whole different topic, I did a bit of adjusting to my work out routine by adding a mile to my run. It took me 20 minutes longer but the calorie burn jumped up by 114 cal.
Tomorrow I am adding a bit of weights to my routine, to build some lean muscle so as to pick up on the metabolism too.
I have a personal goal to be in shape enough to start swimming lengths at the pool when it opens in the summer. And that means fitting my swimsuit a little better, you know even out the weight distributions so I am not a jelly roll.
I love my swimsuit I just want it to love me just a little bit more!!
I am also very excited because I actually order a new dress online. I have been checking the mail everyday hoping it shows up. I am worried that it won't fit or that it will fit but be too short. That has been the problems with all the dresses I have tried lately and I am so tired of the Sunday attire that I have in my closet, I just need a change to give myself a little something to feel good about what I see in the mirror.
I think my brain has a bouncy ball inside, I keep thinking of random things to blog, but there is no flow to it so I don't. Maybe I should just say whats in there so you will know that I am so random in my thoughts all the time. So I will.
I was blog hopping the other day and found the cutest pin cushion tutorial, so Friday I went to town with Madison and we picked out some fabric so I can make it.

This is the link to the tutorial. So Madison and I are going to sew this together and not only do I get a cute new pin cushion, but I get to teach her some sewing skills.
Love your kids that is so funny! Hide and seek is a favorite here too!
ReplyDeleteSo excited to see your new dress that is awesome! They sell some shabby apple dresses in a store called splurge in the center village mall too! They are kind of expensive like 90-140 but they do have some there too fyi!
